Hello. I found a guitarist with a book that you may not know about. It’s called “into the labyrinth” by Davy Mooney… he’s awesome, his book is spectacular… I’m kind of bummed that only a couple channels reviewed it. Maybe you’d like to review it? Idk.

Awesome!! Thank you for sharing!! Slightly different chords than the version I learned: In measures 3-4, I use C7/G instead of g half diminished to C, but I like both! The bass can then continue ascending to Ab in measure 5 under the Fm6. A simple Eb chord instead of DbM7/Eb in measure 9 can then move to Eb7 b9(sus#4-3) and then to Ab(9-8-7-b7) Measure 57: also Eb moving to Eb7/Db in 58. 63-68: Eb pedal 63-64: Ab 65: Abm 66: Ab diminished 7

check out "rock discipline" example 4 - right hand warm-up. All variations through the 'chord sequence". It is good for alternate picking Gambale's "chop builder" has a lot of good exercises. Check out the one on "6ths" (a real tongue twister) and dorian pentatonics. I also like the part where he runs through modal scales. It might seem redundant but don't knock it till you try it. I just wish he went through melodic major modes in addition to the others.

Thanks for posting. I love this song and will start working on it immediately. Though I 2:03 2:05 am not a real singer, I do a lot of singing. I love the lyrics. I’m not a real guitar player either though I play every day at 81 years old. I usually just play my nylon string classical guitar. However. I may pull out my 35 year old Gibson cc Charlie Christian model archtop and my old Polytone amp, if it still works!

Please review Serious Guitar Instruction by Michael Hoffman that’s if it’s still available for purchase. Or maybe possibly anything from David Becker books 📚 🙏🎸

Really helpful. I have the book and found it a great help in developing my skills in tenor sax playing but you have made sense of it in terms of improvisation. Thank you.

While it may be a good book, I will not buy a music book that is not spiral bound. I suggest the author and the published consider showing respect for the customer. musician and make the book convenient to use.
